Privacy Policy for SnuggleLens

Version 1.0 · Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Introduction

a) Who we are. SnuggleLens ("SnuggleLens," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Snuggle Lens LLC, a California limited liability company.

b) What this policy covers. This Privacy Policy applies to the website located at snugglelens.com, including its subdomains, and the SnuggleLens web application available through it (together, the "Service"). It explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information, as defined in Section 2 (Key Terms and Definitions), when you use the Service, including when you create or use an account, make a purchase, or communicate with us by email. The Service does not include the third-party services we use to operate it, such as those provided by Google LLC, Stripe, Inc., and Zoho Corporation, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, or third-party websites linked from the Service, such as social media pages; see Section 11 (Third-Party Services). The Service is currently intended only for users in the United States.

c) Who the Service is for. The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is designed for parents and legal guardians who want to create AI-generated portraits from photos of their own children. By uploading a photo of a child, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have permission from the child's parent or legal guardian to do so. If the photo also shows other people, you confirm that you have permission from each of them to upload it, or, for anyone under 18, permission from that person's parent or legal guardian. Our Terms of Service require these permissions. Children may not create accounts or use the Service themselves.

Summary: Our Commitments About Your Photos

We know the photos you upload are often of your child, so we've built the Service to handle them with care. We collect only what we need, keep it private to your account, delete it when we no longer need it and use trusted providers to process and store it. Here are the most important points:

  • Purpose. We use your Uploaded Photos (defined in Section 2) only to check that they are usable, to create the Generated Portraits you request, and to store both in your account so you can view and download them.
  • No sales, marketing, advertising, or AI-training. We never sell your Uploaded Photos or Generated Portraits (defined in Section 2), use or share them for marketing or advertising, or use them to train AI models.
  • Face data and Measurements (Biometric Data). To check that your uploaded photo is usable, for example that the face isn't cut off and that there is only one face in the photo, our software detects points on the face and takes measurements from them. Some laws treat this as biometric data, and we treat it that way too. We use it only to check your photo, never to identify anyone, and we never sell it or share it with anyone other than the service providers that store and process it for us. The face points are deleted immediately after the check. Any measurements we keep are deleted when your Uploaded Photo is deleted, automatically 30 days after upload, or sooner if you delete the photo or your account.
  • You're in control. Your Uploaded Photos are deleted, automatically 30 days after upload, or you can delete them sooner at any time using the × button in the Your Photos panel on the Generate tab. Your Generated Portraits remain in your account until you delete them, which you can do at any time using the × button in the Generate tab. You can delete your account, along with all of your images, by emailing . See ‘Your requests’ in Section 10 (Your Choices).
  • Trusted providers. To generate and store portraits, we use the Image Generation Service and Storage Service, provided by Google LLC, which maintains recognized security certifications. See Section 5 (How We Handle Your Photos and Portraits), Section 6 (How We Share Information), and Section 9 (Data Security) for details.
  • Your requests. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time. (see Section 10).

2. Key Terms and Definitions

“Personal Information” means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to you or your household, including, but not limited to, the categories listed in Section 3 (Information We Collect).

4. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

We do not sell your Uploaded Photos or Generated Portraits, use or share them for marketing or advertising, post them publicly, or use them to train AI models.

5. How We Handle Your Photos and Portraits

a) How we check your photos. When you upload a photo, our software checks that it is usable, for example, that the face isn't cut off and that there is only one face in the photo. To do this, it detects points on the face and derives measurements from them. We call these face data and measurements. The check runs on our servers, which are hosted by Google LLC. We use face data and measurements only for this check. We do not use them to identify anyone, we do not create facial recognition templates or face embeddings, and we do not sell or share them with anyone other than Google LLC, which stores and processes them for us. The face points are deleted immediately after the check. The derived measurements are stored with your Uploaded Photo and deleted when it is deleted. Photos that don't pass the check are deleted on the same schedule.

b) How portraits are made. When you request a portrait, we send your Uploaded Photo and the selected themes to the Image Generation Service, provided by Google LLC, which creates your Generated Portraits and returns them to us to store in your account. See Section 5.c.ii (During portrait generation) for how Google handles your images, and Section 9 (Data Security) for how we protect them.

c) How we store your images

d) Who can view your images. Your Uploaded Photos and Generated Portraits are private to your account. We do not view them except when you ask to as part of a support request, when needed to investigate a technical error, abuse, or a violation of our Terms of Service, or when required by law. Google staff may review images only in the limited cases described under Section 5.c.ii (During portrait generation). See Section 9 (Data Security) for how your images are protected.

e) Deleting your images: Uploaded Photos are automatically deleted 30 days after upload. You can delete them sooner from the Your Photos panel on the Generate tab, and you can delete Generated Portraits from Your Creations panel on the Generate tab at any time. To delete your account, email us at . See ‘Your requests’ in Section 10 (Your Choices). Deleting your account deletes all of your images. See Section 8 (Data Retention) for details.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information or share it for marketing or advertising. We share personal information only in the situations described below.

a) Service providers. We use the following service providers to operate the Service. They process personal information on our behalf and may use it only to provide their services to us. Each service provider has its own terms and privacy policy, which it may change and which we do not control; see Section 11 (Third-Party Services). We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, children, the public, or SnuggleLens. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as required by law.

c) With your consent. We may share information for other purposes when you ask us to or give us permission.

d) Business transfers. If SnuggleLens is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any successor must continue to protect your Personal Information including your Uploaded Photos and Generated Portraits as described in this policy.

We use browser storage and similar technologies only to keep you signed in, secure your session, complete checkout, and operate the Service. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we begin using them, we will update this policy before doing so. Our payment processor, Stripe, may set its own cookies during checkout to process payments and prevent fraud. (see Stripe Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy) Because we do not track you across other websites or use analytics or advertising cookies, the Service does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
